To: Invitees for e-book review of C. Wayne Ottinger’s (ALETRO)
"Four Winds Boomeranged"
This free manuscript distribution is made to solicit feedback and reviews from family, friends, and professional peers (taking advantage of name recognition for marketing the book) before launching on distribution sites such as Amazon, Barnes and Noble, and Apple’s iBooks--hopefully in the next month or two.
At that time, ALETRO plans to kick off a crowd funding project to raise at least $10,000 for the e-book publication, a potential hardcover publication, and travel expenses to the NASA Armstrong Flight Research Center at Edwards AFB, CA. Once there, Ottinger will assist NASA in republishing the NASA monograph Unconventional, Contrary, and Ugly (which contains a Foreword written by Neil Armstrong).
The republished monograph will be a NASA e-book, incorporating both new material obtained at the Fort Worth National Archive building in June and material that was originally eliminated due to a bureaucratic page limit. As the original principal co-author of this monograph, Ottinger is determined to get this task accomplished without the aid of government funding.
The reward planned for tax-deductible 501 (C) (3) donations will be additional free copies of the e-book (and later a hard copy, if available) valued at 10% of the contribution amount (the reward value will have to be deducted from the donation for tax credits). Donations are welcome prior to the commercial launch.
